V20 Update 9 Release Candidate 2
3CX has released Release Candidate 2 for V20 Update 9, bringing several minor fixes and improvements before the final public release.
Following the earlier ALPHA, BETA, and RC versions, this update focuses mainly on stability and bug fixes.
Fixes Included in RC2
Grok (xAI) Summarization
Fixed a problem where transcription summaries were always generated in English, even when the original transcription was in another language supported by Grok.
Windows Installer
Resolved an installation issue caused by a missing Visual C++ redistributable package.
Remote Archive
Fixed a bug that prevented downloading archived recordings when transcriptions already existed for those recordings.
“See Presence” Permissions
Resolved an issue where disabling “See Presence” rights for individual users was not updating correctly because of recent API changes.
How to Install V20 Update 9 RC2
To upgrade:
- Log in to the 3CX Admin Console
- Go to System → Updates
- Select Update 9 RC2
- Click Download
The release is mainly focused on polishing and stability improvements ahead of the final V20 Update 9
